Just 9 short months ago Parker met Raleigh Hager at the Dallas Ft. Worth boat show and that meeting dramatically changed his plans for the 2013 summer! Raleigh is the reigning women’s surf World Champion and loaned Parker one of her surf boards so he could start learning and preparing for his first competition. Having only tried a surf style board for the first time in February of 2013, he competed in Loreto, Mexico in May at the Supreme Mexico Wake Surf Championship and brought home a first place trophy. Last night brought that January boat show meeting full circle for Parker. He just wrapped up the 2013 surf season by winning a World Championship title for Men’s Amateur Surf in Las Vegas! This summer brought many new fantastic friends and killer competition from surfers near and far. Parker is headed back to Texas to get back into the school routine and start planning his 2014 season.
